Country Scorecards

This product is a compilation of social, political, and economic risk metrics at the country level. The metrics are jointly selected by STR and the client to create a detailed picture of country-level risk. The 15 to 20 selected metrics are cross-sectional, which means the same indicators can be found for a series of countries, allowing for easy global and/or regional comparisons. Example of possible risk metrics include: three-year exchange rate trend lines, ten-year life expectancy trend graph, list of ratified human rights conventions, primary exports, gross domestic product figures, Gini coefficient, description of child labor laws, etc. The compilation of these indicators can equip clients for more informed conversations with suppliers and give a more encompassing picture of existing country-level risks.See Sample
